Computational Geosciences

The focus of research is the dynamic component of the geological and geophysical processes.

Geological and geophysical observables often needs to be combined with modelling to understand the governing processes shaping the Earth and controlling of element and commodity distribution in the accessible crust. The group aims at producing a wider view of the litosphere and the mantle as a 4-dimensional system that accounts for large-scale tectonics, heat and fluid transport, petrology and geochemistry.
