Abstract:
This paper presents a damage model for fibre reinforced composite materials based in a directional approach. The formulation is performed in a three-dimensional context whereby the anisotropy induced by mixed-mode damage is conveniently estimated. The model predicts the softening behaviour preceding the complete failure
